1.3 kg lean ground beef
½ cup blue cheese (crumbled)
1/2 cup fresh chives (minced)
1/4 tsp hot pepper sauce
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp black pepper (coarsely ground)
1.5 tsp salt
1 tsp mustard (dry)
12 hamburger buns
In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, blue cheese, chives, hot pepper sauce, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, salt and mustard. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Preheat grill (high heat) and form the burger mixture into 12 patties.
Oil the grill and grill patties for 5 minutes per side, or until well done.
Serve on rolls.
Cooks in: 45 minutes
