Sticky Chicken Wings


1 kg chicken wings

30ml honey

30ml sherry

30ml tomato sauce

30ml soy sauce

30ml lemon juice

30ml olive oil

1 x 4cm fresh ginger (grated)

2 cloves garlic (crushed)

90ml water


Combine the sticky marinade and whisk.

Remove the wing tips from the chicken wings and place it in an ovenproof glass dish. Allow to marinate for 1 hour.

Place the chicken and sticky marinade in a pot and shimmer for 10 minutes.

Braai over medium hot coals for 20 minutes until brown and sticky. Keep brushing with marinade.

Serve with Survivor Wild Ferment Syrah
